Terms Governing Order Cancellation and Refunds
The following terms are applicable for any products that You purchased with Us.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
- Application means the software program provided by the Company downloaded by You on any electronic device, named Monk & Bear
- Company (referred to as either "the Company", "We", "Us" or "Our" in this Agreement) refers to Monk & Bear or Equanimous Real Estate Services, the sole proprietor company, that is running the monkandbear.in, monkandbear.com.
- Goods refer to the items offered for sale on the Service.
- Orders mean a request by You to purchase Goods from Us.
- Service refers to the Application or the Website or both and the products or services offered
- Website refers to Monk & Bear portal, accessible from https://www.monkandbear.com or htpps://www.monkandbear.in (or https://monkandbear.com, https://monkandbear.in)
- You or User means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Your Order Cancellation Rights
Monk & Bear takes appropriate steps to ensure You are fully interested before placing an order and then requests You to place an order and pay fees to Us. Once you have paid the fees, then no other User can place an order to rent the same house. In case, you decide to cancel the order after making the payment, You can inform us by email – admin@monkandbear.com or inform the Monk & Bear relationship executive who has worked with you in rental house search. Post cancellation of the order, the house booked by You will be made available to other Users. However, the fees you paid to Monk & Bear will not be refundable.
When You have placed an order, already paid fees to Monk & Bear & have booked the house on rent and due to some circumstances Owner of the property decides to not rent the property to You, We reserve the right to cancel the order with or without prior notification to You. In such a case, Monk & Bear will inform You about the order cancellation and will refund You the amount You paid to Monk & Bear to purchase the order.
We will reimburse You no later than 21 days from the day on which We receive the confirmation from you about the order cancellation. We will use the same means of payment as You used for the Order, and You will not incur any fees for such reimbursement.
Any payment made between You and Owner of the rental house, is neither the responsibility of Monk & Bear nor Monk & Bear is liable for it in case any loss, damages incurred in the transactions.
Conditions for Returns
For any order, when you confirm your decision to cancel the order with Monk & Bear, the goods or services will be made available to other Users and it will No longer be allocated to You.
